This in-vehicle payment service lets you handle transactions right from your Kona’s touchscreen. As the technology expands to more models, you’ll benefit from securely stored credit card information and the ability to make payments with just a few taps.
At this stage, Hyundai Pay is designed to make parking payments easier. The challenges of finding a spot and determining how to pay—whether by coins, cash, or card—are all too common. Thankfully, Hyundai has collaborated with Parkopedia to unveil the new parking payment system to enhance the driver’s experience. This state-of-the-art feature allows U.S. drivers to find, reserve, and effortlessly pay for parking at more than 6,000 locations. Amazingly, you can do everything inside your Hyundai once you complete a simple setup process.
Debuting with the Kona last fall, Hyundai plans to introduce Hyundai Pay to nine more models through model year updates or easy over-the-air upgrades. Looking ahead, the Hyundai Pay platform is designed to grow, adding new features and services tailored for electric vehicles.
Hyundai Pay revolutionizes the driving experience by integrating hassle-free payment options directly into the vehicle’s touchscreen and Bluelink-connected car system. Hyundai Pay How-To
- To enroll, you must have an active Bluelink account.
- You’ll also need MyHyundai with Bluelink.
- Once you have all of the above and downloaded the app, select “Utilities” in the bottom left corner.
- Under “Utilities,” you’ll select “Hyundai Pay.”
- Follow the directions to enroll, which include agreeing to terms and conditions, selecting a vehicle, and adding a payment.
- Enter your license place number, which is required when paying for parking spaces.
- Select the credit card you’d like to use.
- Make sure to add “Linked Merchants” so you can add parking and/or charging partners affiliated with Hyundai Pay.
- Now that you’re registered and payment is set up, you can find a destination using your touchscreen.
- Select “Search Near POI” and then select “Parking.”
- Filter the search results by “Hyundai Pay” to locate available lots.
- Select the desired lot and then the information icon.
- To reserve a spot in this lot, click the Hyundai Pay icon. You can even enter the date and times you need to reserve the spot.
- Once everything is correct, press “Pay” and enter your MyHyundai with Bluelink PIN to complete the transaction.
- Set the parking lot as your destination and head that way!
