1. Jack Stephens Center

Jack Stephens Center is home to the Little Rock Trojans basketball team. The team competes in NCAA Division I and has a loyal following in the city. With 5,600 seats and almost 150,000 square feet of space, there’s plenty of room for fans to enjoy this modern arena.

2. Leroy Scott Field

Leroy Scott Field, sometimes referred to as just Scott Field, is a small multi-purpose stadium with around 4,500 seats. Despite its small size, it’s a great place to enjoy high school or amateur sports. It hosts football and other sports for the Little Rock Hall Warriors of Hall High School.

The stadium is located at Forest Heights STEM Academy. Arkansas Wolves of the National Premier Soccer League play home games here too.


3. Simmons Bank Arena

If you’re looking for another great indoor sports venue, Simmons Bank Arena might be for you. This 18,000-seat arena has been used for everything from hockey to indoor football. Located in the downtown area right by the river, it’s easy to find for Little Rock residents.

Simmons Bank Arena no longer has a regular tenant, but there are still lots of events to enjoy. From rodeos and motor racing to concerts, there’s lots of fun to be had here.


4. Donaghey Student Center Aquatic Center

Danaghey Student Center is home to Little Rock’s only Olympic-sized pool. The student facility hosts swim meets and other aquatic sports for the Little Rock Trojans.

If you feel like taking a dip yourself, non-students are permitted to use the pool for a small fee. There are regular classes too. You could take a lifeguard course or become certified in operating a canoe.


5. Arkansas Skatium

Just because the weather’s warm in Arkansas doesn’t mean that you can’t enjoy some indoor sports. Arkansas Skatium is an indoor venue for hockey and roller sports. Open all-year-round, it’s equipped with a pro shop and concessions.

The Skatium is located on South Bowman Road. You can watch local amateur league action here, or take to the rink and do some skating yourself.
