The 2021 Palisade is Hyundai’s largest SUV. It comes with a unique look, lots of space, and a great ride. It’s fantastic for family trips, and in addition to the SE, SEL, and Limited trim levels, a new Calligraphy trim is also available. Here are some of the new Calligraphy’s best features.

An Eye-Catching Exterior

The 2021 Palisade Calligraphy has a sleek, muscular look, and it’s easy to spot in a parking lot. It has a big, bold grille with the Hyundai emblem in the center, 7.9 inches of ground clearance, narrow automatic LED headlights with automatic high beams, large square fog lights, sculpted sides, and a sculpted hood.

It comes with 20-inch alloy wheels, heated side mirrors with turn signals, LED accents, puddle lights, lights for the door handles, and a rear windshield wiper and washer. The Calligraphy’s other features include tinted acoustic windows, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a dual sunroof, roof rails, and a hands-free power liftgate with height settings.

Awesome Performance

This SUV comes with a 3.8-liter V-6 engine that gives 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. It uses an eight-speed automatic transmission with a cooling system and a manual mode. There’s also a system that shuts off the motor when you stop in traffic to save fuel. It starts when you press the gas again, and accessories like the heater stay on.

You can choose eco, smart, sport, or comfort driving modes. The smart mode can learn as you drive and make adjustments over time for an optimal ride. With the optional all-wheel drive, you’ll get a snow mode as well. The Palisade Calligraphy can pull up to 5,000 pounds, so transporting heavy loads on long trips is easy. It also has an independent suspension for a smooth ride, responsive power steering, and great acceleration.

A Luxurious Interior

This three-row SUV can carry up to seven people. There’s lots of room for kids and adults, along with up to 86.4 cubic feet of cargo space. The Palisade Calligraphy comes with manually-folding third-row seats, power-folding and sliding second-row seats, heating and cooling controls in the second row, rear vents, keyless entry, an 8-inch touch screen, five USB ports, push-button start, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Quiet Mode allows you to deactivate the speakers near the rear seats to help kids sleep better on long trips.

Other standard features include a storage compartment beneath the cargo floor, an outdoor temperature display, and paddle shifters for the steering wheel. The 2021 Calligraphy is designed for comfort, with heated and cooled Nappa leather seats, an eight-way power driver’s seat with four-way power lumbar support and memory settings, and an eight-way power passenger seat. There’s a 10.25-inch touch screen, power-folding and reclining third-row seats, a 12-speaker premium audio system, a head-up display, wireless charging, a 360-degree camera system, and a 12.3-inch driver instrument cluster as well.
