The hybrid trims use a 1.6-liter, four-cylinder gas engine with a 32-kilowatt electric motor, and they generate 139 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque. The hybrid has a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission for impressive efficiency and responsiveness, and it can travel more than 50 mpg combined. With the N Line, you’ll get a turbocharged, 1.6-liter engine that gives 201 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed manual or a seven-speed automatic transmission is available, and the N Line comes with paddle shifters for the steering wheels and dual exhaust pipes.

 

A Luxurious Interior

 

The 2021 Elantra’s interior comes with a variety of comfortable, convenient features. The air vent goes all the way across the dashboard, and a strip of LED lights accents it for a sleek, high-tech look. You’ll get Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, an 8-inch touch screen, a Wi-Fi hot spot, and voice recognition.

 

You can add Digital Key, the ability to use your smartphone to start the engine and unlock the doors. You can share Digital Key with another driver’s devices as well. Other options include a 10.25-inch touch screen, navigation, a 10.25-inch driver information display, and heated seats.
